Great article.

On the parent end, it's a good idea to keep photos up of the grandparents. They seem more real to the kids when they physically see them. Also, when the grands visit either direction, the faces are more familiar too.

We lived in Japan when my boys were little, so it was really important to maintain those ties. They forgot most of America while they were gone but not their grandparents.
